Sue has worked in childcare all of her life. Sue started out at the very beginning as cabin crew for British Airways often looking after the children on the unaccompanied minor journeys! Since leaving the airline industry Sue has worked with children in lots of other facets notably as a Teaching Assistant and Nanny. You will soon observe Sue is full of energy and enthusiasm for the work she does, completely dedicated to the cause of childcare. Sue has worked as part of a dynamic team at her local pre-school and primary school in a private educational establishment for over a decade. This village school is renowned for its excellence, achieving accolades for its performance, therefore Sue is used to working at a very high level. She has in the last couple of years dedicated her skills and knowledge to enjoying the reception classes that begin at 4 years old but very much takes a very active part in all the school years with her Art classes going up to the age of 10/11 years old. She has also become a notable Art teacher being promoted when her craft capabilities had the children mesmerised and saw their art classes with her, as the best time of the week – so be ready if your child loves art they are in for a treat! It is no surprise, that Sue has established herself as an enormous success within our team and working with many of our notable and returning VIP families. She is also a loving mother to two teenage children, which also guarantees that Sue comes to all her bookings with a number of tricks up her sleeve to entertain and engage the little ones in her charge along with bringing a wonderful motherly quality to help with young babies! Sue is calm, happy and consistently receives excellent feedback from our families. Sue along with all of our other care givers with The Hotel Nanny, have child care related qualifications, many years of experience, has been DBS checked, has her Paediatric First Aid certificate, all references have been checked, and each nanny has undergone an extensive interview with myself, the owner of The Hotel Nanny.
