This can be difficult if the kids know you are going out. The nannies arrived on time for our respective families — and got stuck straight in. Our nanny started the bath and the kids got their toys. She then rang for room service for the childrens’ meals and told us to go and have fun! It was quite amazing, we felt like spare cogs.
